Although she has made a name for herself an individual artist and performer in Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will forever be best known for being the 'ABBA' member as one of the biggest commercially successful and internationally adored pop bands of all time. Leaving school at 15 to pursue a career in music She soon discovered herself singing with Bernt Enghardt's band and attracted a fan following. They signed her to a recording contract with Enghardt, and her debut album topped the Swedish charts. After getting engaged, she wed Bjorn Ulvaeus. She then began to join the group 'ABBA'. For the next eight years, 'ABBA' became one of the biggest popular acts around the globe with many platinum and gold awards around the globe. Following ABBA's release her three albums including 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me', 'Eyes of a Woman as well as 'I stand alone'. All having enjoyed great acclaim in Sweden and gained popularity throughout Europe and beyond, but she was never able to make an impact in the U.S. The '80s came to an end and she entered into an official retirement. ABBA music became the base for a jukebox show called Mamma Mia!. The album, 'My Coloring Book that peaked at top 11 on charts for the UK it was made after the singer had retired from retirement.
